Shripad Desai

Shripad Desai currently serves as the Deputy SVP, Country Teams Liaison at Americares, where responsibilities include developing in-country operating models and enabling locally led decision-making for country directors. With previous roles as Senior Director for Asia Eurasia Programs, Desai has contributed significantly to humanitarian efforts within the region. Desai is also a member of the Board of Trustees and serves as MD & Country Director at AmeriCares India Foundation, leading initiatives that combine technology with mobile healthcare in marginalized Mumbai slums. Prior experience includes leadership positions in sales, marketing, and strategic planning at Chiron Panacea Vaccines Pvt. Ltd., OralCDx India, Novartis, Sanofi Aventis, and AstraZeneca. Desai holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Mumbai and is a PhD research scholar in Public Health at the Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur.
