Monique Stevens

Monique Stevens has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Monique started their career in the US Army as a Sergeant - Personnel Information Systems Management Specialist from December 1995 to July 2004. Following that, they worked as a Senior Tax Associate at KPMG from February 2007 to September 2010. In 2010, Monique became an Independent Contractor at their own firm, Monique Stevens, CPA, until May 2011.

Monique then joined Heritage Bank NW in May 2011 and held various roles within the accounting department until July 2018. These roles included Corporate Accountant - Accounting Operations (May 2011 - September 2012), Corporate Accountant - Accounting Supervisor (September 2012 - May 2014), and Corporate Accountant - Accounting Supervisor, Officer (September 2013 - May 2014). Monique ultimately served as AVP, Assistant Controller from May 2014 to July 2018.

Continuing their career progression, Monique joined America's Credit Union in July 2018. Monique initially held the position of VP, Controller until August 2020 and later advanced to the role of Chief Financial Officer starting in August 2020.

Throughout their career, Monique has gained significant experience in finance, accounting, and management roles, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Monique Stevens has a diverse educational background. From 2001 to 2004, they attended Barton Community College and completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Physical Sciences. Afterward, from 2005 to 2006, Monique studied at the University of Alaska Anchorage and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Monique also obtained two certifications related to their field. In June 2010, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Washington State Board of Accountancy, and in April 2010, they obtained the same certification through the Alaska Board of Public Accountancy. These certifications showcase Monique's expertise and dedication to their profession.
