Geevanesam Devakanmalai

Geevanesam Devakanmalai is a professional with diverse experience in training, mentorship, and research. Currently serving as a Trainer and Career Mentor at America Works of New York, Inc. since July 2023, Geevanesam previously held roles as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Connecticut from August 2021 to July 2023, and Admissions Sales Associate at the Wildlife Conservation Society from April 2021 to September 2022. Additional experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Admissions Student Ambassador and Peer Educator at Lehman College between November 2018 and November 2020, and working as a Research Intern at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from August 2015 to May 2018. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut, a Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician from the Institute of Career Continuity, and a high school diploma from The Bronx High School of Science.
