Craig Dennis, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Craig started their career at Akron General Medical Center as an Admitting Clerk from 1994 to 1998.

Craig then joined Americhem in 1998, where they held various roles. As a Production / Quality Testing Technician, they designed and compounded formulations for coloring plastics and performed quality and physical testing on products. Craig was also a Production Team Leader, responsible for supervising a team of production technicians and operating and maintaining polymer extruders, mixers, and molders.

Craig then transitioned to become a Technical Service Specialist, conducting problem-solving techniques and directing testing activities in response to customer issues. Craig also defined and implemented corrective and preventative actions and served as a backup to the Quality Manager.

In their next role as a Research & Development Scientist, they assembled and led a group of scientists to develop and implement a Technology Stage Gate system in Research & Development. This system was based on principles of project management and stage-gate methodology.

As a Process Engineer, Craig integrated equipment design, product formulations, and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Craig worked closely with corporate engineering and maintenance teams to design and build equipment or accessories to enhance production capabilities. Craig also identified and implemented innovative processes and quality improvements to existing procedures.

Their most recent position at Americhem Inc. is as a Maintenance & Engineering Leader. In this role, Craig leads a team of maintenance technicians and a professional process engineer. Craig is a member of the Plant Leadership and Safety Team and is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing various plastic processing equipment and plant support equipment through active maintenance programs.

Throughout their career, Craig has developed strong project management skills and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Craig Dennis, PMP received their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Akron, where they studied from 1993 to 2001. In 2007, they obtained a Certificate in Project Leadership from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. In 2011, they obtained the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the PMI (Project Management Institute). Additionally, Craig Dennis holds a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB), although the institution and specific date of obtaining this certification are not provided.
