Derrick Carter

Derrick Carter is an experienced logistics professional with a comprehensive background in managing large-scale operations across various companies. Currently serving as General Manager at Americold Logistics, LLC. since November 2021, Derrick oversees a 1 million square foot cold storage distribution center and leads a team of over 200 associates. Prior experience includes General Manager positions at CEVA Logistics and Exel, where Derrick focused on customer relations and logistics operations. As Regional Logistics Manager at Ecolab, Derrick led logistical execution in the U.S., and earlier roles include Logistics Manager at Ryder Integrated Logistics and Operations Supervisor at American Freightways. Derrick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from Parker College of Business at Georgia Southern University, obtained in 1998.
