Dr. Ruth E. Brown, Th.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Dr. Ruth E. started their career as a Career Center Coordinator at Brevard Community College in 2001, and later moved on to work as a Staffing Associate at Snelling Personnel in 2004. In 2006, they became the Career Center Coordinator at Mid-South Community College. Dr. Ruth E. then served as the Director of Christian Education at Greater Harvest Church from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Field Trainer at Kuder, Inc. In 2012, they became a Career Development Facilitator at Truth Revealed International Ministries. Additionally, they served as an Employment Security Representative II at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they began their involvement with AmeriCorps VISTA, taking on roles such as Outreach Coordinator and Project Development Specialist at the Corporation for National and Community Service. Dr. Ruth E. continued their work with AmeriCorps VISTA as a volunteer at Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida, Inc. From 2015 to 2016, they also worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Texas Impact/Texas Interfaith Center for Public Policy.

Dr. Ruth E. Brown, Th.D. obtained their Doctorate in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary between 2010 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Brown has also obtained certifications as a Global Career Development Facilitator and as a Global Career Development Facilitator Instructor, from the National Career Development Association and the Center for Credentialing Education.
