William gained experience as the Assistant Chief Pilot at Jet It and as an EMS Pilot at Air Methods. William also worked as the Beech 1900 Program Manager at Ameriflight, LLC and as a Pilot at Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. and Great Lakes Airlines. William started their career as a Flight Instructor at Aerosim Flight Academy.
William McDonald has a strong educational background in aviation and aeronautics. William completed their Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew from Broward College from 2009 to 2012.
In addition to their education, William McDonald has obtained several certifications in the aviation field. William received the Aircrew Program Designee certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in July 2019. William also holds certifications as an Airline Transport Pilot and Certificated Flight Instructor-ASEL, Instrument Airplane, both obtained from the FAA in August 2013 and December 2010, respectively.
