Cassandra Toscano

Cassandra Toscano, MBA, has extensive experience in population health and healthcare management. Cassandra is currently working as the Vice President of Population Health Program Excellence & Medicare Care Management at AmeriHealth Caritas, where they are part of a leadership team focused on achieving population health goals and enhancing members' lives. Prior to this, Cassandra served as the Interim Population Health Leadership and Subject Matter Expert (SME) at PWC Talent Exchange, where they worked on various projects related to clinical program design, advocacy program design, and Medicare D-SNP Duals care management program leadership.

Cassandra also held the position of Vice President of Clinical Business Management and Operations at Healthfirst, where they worked from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they worked at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, as the Executive Director of Program Strategy and Member Experience Design for Aetna One Advocate. In this role, they designed population health strategies, launched new products, and helped improve member satisfaction.

Earlier in their career, Cassandra held leadership positions at EmblemHealth, where they led the creation and implementation of ACO and population health management programs. Cassandra also worked at PwC as a Manager of Enterprise Strategy, focusing on value-based contracting and population health clinical roadmaps. Cassandra'sexperience also includes roles at Boston Scientific and Brigham and Women's Hospital, where they worked in finance and healthcare management.

Cassandra Toscano, MBA obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Boston University in 2000. Cassandra later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Healthcare Management at the Yale School of Management from 2007 to 2009.
