Carmen Gloria Alvarez AvMP has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Carmen Gloria is currently a Senior Manager for Operational & Business Transformation at Amerijet International, a position they began in 2021.

Prior to that, Carmen held various roles at Cargo Network Services Corp. (CNS) from 2016 to 2020. Carmen Gloria served as the Head of Operations and Business Development, overseeing the performance of the largest single country multi-billion dollar airline/forwarder settlement system globally, CASS USA. Carmen Gloria also led stakeholder management with senior air cargo executives and authorities, driving the promotion and adoption of industry initiatives and services. Additionally, they acted as the Manager of Industry Projects, where they focused on driving the eCargo Agenda in the United States and represented CNS to various organizations and internal IATA meetings.

Before CNS, Carmen worked at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) from 2001 to 2016. Carmen Gloria held the position of Regional Manager Cargo eCommerce, The Americas, where they championed the implementation and expansion of eAWB and eFreight initiatives in the region. Carmen Gloria also played a key role in advocating for the acceptance and adoption of IATA messaging standards with Regional Customs Authorities. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Cargo Services, responsible for managing and auditing the CASS Settlement operation in Chile.

Carmen began their career as a General Manager Assistant at the Chilean Air Cargo Association - ACHIAC, a position they held from 1995 to 2001.
