Muhammad Afzal is a skilled civil engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Site Engineer at Wayne State University and as a Civil Engineer at Amerilodge Group since November 2014. Their responsibilities include reviewing plans and drawings and making necessary adjustments using AutoCAD. Muhammad also studied advanced software for analyzing ground and surface water movement during time as a Master’s student at Wayne State University from June 2012 to October 2013. Prior experience includes a role as Chief Engineer at Rayconstruction from January 2005 to September 2009. Muhammad holds a Civil Engineering degree from Eastern Mediterranean University (1990-1994) and a certificate in Energy Management with LEED Certification from Seneca Polytechnic in 2010.

A privately held hotel management/ownership company based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Amerilodge manages hotels in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. Presently has IHG, Marriott, and Wyndham products in its portfolio. Amerilodge was awarded the Developer of the Year in 2013 & 2014 by IHG, and in 2015 was the New Development Award as well for IHG. Management team is lead by CEO & President, Asad Malik.
