Jake S. has extensive experience in information security and systems engineering, currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC since August 2015. Prior roles include positions as Sr. Information Security Engineer and Information Security Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed managing vulnerability programs and overseeing security incidents. Previous experience at Bluestem Brands involved firewall management and the administration of security solutions. A career in the military provided foundational skills, including management of network security on ships and the handling of national security assets. Jake has also contributed to IT projects for IBM’s Global Services and holds a BSBA in Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University.
