Daisy Mitchell

Daisy Mitchell, MBA, CEM, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Enterprise Risk Manager at Ameris Bank, a role held since October 2022. Prior to this position, Daisy was with the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance as a Supervisory Examiner for the Large Bank Group from March 2018 to October 2022, where responsibilities included financial analysis, loan review, and operational assessments to ensure compliance with banking regulations. Daisy's experience also includes serving as a Financial Examiner in the Credit Union Division for the State of North Carolina from October 2012 to February 2018 and previously as a Supervisory Examiner at the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance from March 1999 to August 2012. Education includes an Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University and a BBA in Finance from Georgia Southern University.
