Michael T. Lee

Michael T. Lee has substantial experience in the banking industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Regional President at Ameris Bank since January 2011. Previously, Michael held the position of President and CEO at Citizens Bank of Effingham from October 2002 to January 2011 and was the Executive Vice President at Bank of Alapaha from August 1995 to October 2002. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Troy University, attended the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, and pursued studies at Birmingham Theological Seminary.
