Brent Miles

Brent Miles is an experienced professional in fleet management with over 25 years in the industry. Currently serving as the Director of Purchasing and Director of Strategic Field Operations at Amerit Fleet Solutions since January 2013, Brent oversees the maintenance of over 1200 telecom vehicles and 600 support assets across eastern North Carolina. Prior roles include Fleet Manager at Hostess Brands, where responsibilities encompassed compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations for a fleet of approximately 650 route vehicles and 210 over-the-road vehicles, and Shop Foreman at McLane Company, managing shop operations for a fleet of 72 tractors and 106 refrigerated trailers. Brent started the career as a Diesel Mechanic, specializing in various repairs and rebuilds, following a diploma in Auto-Diesel Technology from Lincoln Tech and a General Studies diploma from New Albany High School.
