Alex Stamps

Alex Stamps is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Ameritas since June 2020. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at Deloitte from 1999 to 2020, including Specialist Leader and Manager in Advisory Cyber Risk Services. Additional experience includes roles as an Information Security, Risk and Compliance Senior Specialist at Advanced Technology Services, an Information Security Consultant at Robert Half Technology, and Director of Internal Audit at ConAgra Foods. Alex's early career also involved project management and consulting in information security at Covansys and a senior consultant position at Deloitte. Alex began professional training as a Senior Software Engineer at CyberGuard after earning a B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
