Brent Riley

Brent Riley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In their current role as the SVP IT Technology at AmeriTrust Group, Inc. since February 2022, they oversee the company's IT operations. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Enterprise Architecture and the Director of Enterprise Architecture at the same company from November 2015 to February 2022.

Before joining AmeriTrust Group, Inc., Brent worked as a Consultant at ComResource from September 2013 to December 2015, where they provided expert advice and recommendations on various projects.

From April 2013 to September 2013, Brent worked at Insight Global/Bob Evans as an Application Architect/Lead Developer. Brent was responsible for working on a Point of Sale (POS) solution for Bob Evans Restaurants, working on both new applications and legacy code in languages such as C++, VB6, VB.NET, and C#. Brent also played a key role in developing release management, continuous integration (CI), and deployment methods for the POS team.

Before that, Brent served as a Developer at State Auto Insurance from an unspecified start date to April 2013. Brent collaborated with Business System Analysts to support tier applications, prioritize development and maintenance routines, and contribute to application releases.

Prior to that, Brent worked as a Lead Enterprise Developer at Century Insurance Group from November 2005 to September 2009. In this role, they collaborated with the application team to gather and analyze business requirements, set timelines, obtain resources, and provide presentations to end users. Brent also contributed to the development of policies and rules for Team Foundation Server (TFS) when checking in code and building solutions.

Brent's career began in 2005 as an Application Developer at CeBen Inc, where they supported desktop and web applications in languages such as VB6 and C#.NET. Brent followed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to create new applications and maintain existing ones.

Before transitioning into the IT industry, Brent worked as a General Contractor at Devonwood Enterprises Inc from May 2001 to May 2005. Brent developed databases and web applications for tracking projects and expenses across multiple projects. Brent also created a windows application for reviewing bids.

At the start of their career, Brent served various roles at AmeriLink from June 1996 to May 2001. Brent initially worked as a Sr. Project Manager, where they opened an installation office, hired and trained technicians, and maintained customer relations. Later, they transitioned into the role of a Project Manager, where they supervised installation teams, completed projects under budget, and managed daily progress logs.

Lastly, Brent worked as a National Accounts Project Manager at AmeriLink/Radio Shack from June 1996 to May 2001. Their responsibilities included scheduling, tracking, and reporting on national rollout projects, handling customer invoicing, and managing accruals for hours worked.

Overall, Brent Riley has held various positions in the IT, project management, and general contracting fields, showcasing their wide range of skills and expertise.

Brent Riley attended DeVry University from 2002 to 2004 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Science Computer Information Systems.
