Jean-Philippe Tessonnier

Jean-Philippe Tessonnier currently serves as an Associate Editor for Green Chemistry at the Royal Society of Chemistry since February 2025. Holding the position of Richard C. Seagrave Professor in Chemical & Biological Engineering at Iowa State University since June 2012, Jean-Philippe has also held roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor within the same department. Additionally, Jean-Philippe has been an Associate Scientist at Ames Laboratory since October 2012 and was a Research Associate at the University of Delaware from January 2011 to June 2012. Prior to these roles, Jean-Philippe worked at the Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft as a Project Leader and Postdoctoral Research Associate from May 2005 to January 2011, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Strasbourg from October 2001 to April 2005. Jean-Philippe Tessonnier earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry, specializing in Catalysis, from the University of Strasbourg between 2001 and 2005.
