Jun Cui is a prominent researcher and educator with extensive experience in functional materials and energy applications. Currently serving as a Professor at Iowa State University and a Senior Scientist at Ames Laboratory since July 2015, Jun Cui focuses on ferroic materials aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and renewable energy technology. In addition, Jun Cui holds the position of Chief Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where the development of R&D programs for energy-related applications is prioritized.
