Ryan Ott

Ryan Ott has over 20 years of work experience, starting as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Johns Hopkins University in 1999 and progressing to roles such as Research Associate. Ryan joined Ames Laboratory in 2004 and held various positions, including Assistant Scientist, Associate Scientist, Scientist I and II, finally becoming the Deputy Director of Materials Science and Engineering in December 2020.

Ryan Ott completed their Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Michigan Technological University in 1999. Ryan then went on to earn their PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2004.
