Jay Reid

Jay Reid is an experienced instructor at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) since August 2018, specializing in geography and technical sales. With a career spanning from 2009 to the present at Ames Tile & Stone, Jay Reid is responsible for sales, customer relations, and providing technical support for tile installation. Prior roles include a teaching assistantship for an Advanced GIS class at the University of Calgary and volunteer GIS support for the Canid Conservation Science Lab, where Jay Reid contributed to significant wildlife studies. Early experience includes equipment maintenance at Fitsystems Inc. and database creation at Andronowski & Associates. Jay Reid holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the University of Calgary and a Master of Science in Geography from the same institution.
