Jose G. Torres

Jose G. Torres is a seasoned quality engineer with extensive experience in product testing and development across various industries. Currently serving as a Sr. Quality Engineer at AMETEK Programmable Power since June 2021, Jose previously held similar roles at Watkins Wellness, enhancing quality processes for hot tubs and Endless Pools, and at OtterBox Products, designing reliability test plans. With a robust background at Microsoft and Nokia, Jose managed product testing from concept to launch while ensuring quality standards. Earlier career roles included product development and mechanical design engineering at Motorola Semiconductors, where Jose also specialized in failure analysis. Jose holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
