Doug Calapan

Doug Calapan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Manager at Ametek's Programmable Power Division since May 2008, Doug has previously held significant roles, including Sustaining Engineering Manager at Xantrex Technology from 2006 to 2008 and Manufacturing Manager at Elgar Electronics from 1985 to 2006. Earlier in career, Doug worked as a Computer Products Specialist at Hamilton Avnet and a Systems Development Engineer at National Semiconductor, where contributions included developing hardware for console interfaces and peripherals. Doug's technical foundation was established during service as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy from 1970 to 1976. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Chapman University.
