Sean Smiley

Sean Smiley is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and Compliance at AMETEK since October 2019. In this role, Sean leads the planning and reporting cycles for the division, manages internal controls processes, and drives process improvements while collaborating with leadership to achieve strategic objectives. Previously, Sean worked at NCR Corporation for nearly a decade in various finance leadership roles, including Senior Manager - Finance Transformation Lead, where significant cost reductions and operational efficiencies were implemented. Sean also held positions focused on strategic business partnership, revenue analytics, and financial planning. Sean's career began at Deloitte as an Audit Assistant after earning a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
