Craig Steel

Craig Steel is a Technical Director at Amey since January 2023, specializing in major bridge and gantry management as part of the NMC SE Trunk Road Maintenance Contract. Responsibilities include leading the delivery of programs for significant bridge assets managed by Transport Scotland, such as Erskine Bridge and Kingston Bridge Complex, while developing long-term maintenance strategies and overseeing inspection and refurbishment activities. Craig Steel coordinates multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Prior to this role, Craig served as a Principal Civil Engineer at Amey. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, completed in June 2005.
