CEM / Lead Design Engineer (stations) at Amey

Kevin Ball has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Kevin started their career as a Graduate Engineer at MOUCHEL plc in 2005, and then worked as an Assistant Engineer at Grontmij from 2006 to 2008. Kevin then joined Amey in 2009 as a Consultant, specializing in rail bridge structural assessments. Kevin gained extensive experience in structural analysis, technical drawing, and inspection work. In 2012, Kevin worked as a Consultant with Remote Access Technology International as a Rope Access Inspector. Kevin conducted inspections and measurements on projects at Suncor Refinery and Chevron Refinery. From 2012 to 2014, Kevin returned to Amey as a Consultant, and then in 2014, they started their own company called K Ball Consultants Limited. Kevin worked as a Director, collaborating with Amey Rail Design, S&C, and other related schemes. Kevin served as a Project Manager, designer, and contractors responsible engineer. Finally, in 2017, Kevin joined Amey again as a CEM / Lead Design Engineer (Stations).

From 2001 to 2005, Kevin Ball studied Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Leeds, completing their Bachelor of Science degree with Honors (BSc Hons).
