Kevin McClatchy

Kevin McClatchy has extensive leadership experience in both non-profit and corporate sectors. As Co-Chairman of amFAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research since June 2020, Kevin actively serves on multiple committees, focusing on social media marketing, communications, and organizational development. Prior to this role, Kevin was Chairman of the Board of Directors at the McClatchy Company from May 2012 to September 2020, overseeing one of America’s largest newspaper companies. Earlier in their career, as the youngest owner in Major League Baseball, Kevin served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing General Partner of the Pittsburgh Pirates from February 1996 to October 2007, where Kevin played a pivotal role in saving the franchise and constructing PNC Park. Kevin earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from UC Santa Barbara between 1981 and 1985.
