Alessandra Tranquilli

Alessandra Tranquilli is a seasoned professional in program management and capacity building with a strong focus on child protection, gender issues, and evidence-based advocacy. Currently serving as Capacity Building Manager at amfori since March 2024, Alessandra previously held the position of Research and Frameworks Manager at WeProtect Global Alliance, where significant contributions included developing the 2023 Global Threat Assessment on child sexual exploitation online and collaborating with UNICEF on strategic planning tools. Earlier roles encompassed managing substantial programs at KIYO, Girls Not Brides, and Plan International, emphasizing quality and strategy in multidisciplinary contexts. Alessandra holds a Master of Science from the University of London and dual Master's degrees in Anthropology of Development and Social Transformation, and Social Anthropology from the University of Sussex.
