Jim Hoover

Jim Hoover is an experienced Environmental Health Safety Specialist currently employed at AMG Vanadium LLC since November 2024, previously serving as an Area Safety Coordinator and AZ2 Mill Area Safety Coordinator at Commercial Metals Company from August 2010 to November 2024. Jim's expertise encompasses OSHA compliance, workplace safety, and equipment maintenance, along with significant field experience interacting with contractors and Ironworkers. Prior to this, Jim held various roles in the corrections field with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, as well as gaining early experience as a Millwright at North Star Steel Ohio. Jim's military background includes service in the United States Marine Corps. Throughout Jim's career, professional development has included training in safety protocols, supervision, and equipment operation, alongside contributions to industry presentations.
