Nishkala Thiru has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Nishkala started their career at A J Cope & Son, where they worked as a Sales & Marketing Assistant/Marketing Executive. Their responsibilities included online and direct marketing, eCommerce website management, customer services, account management, and market research.
Afterwards, Nishkala joined BioMed Central as a Marketing Executive, where they were in charge of marketing, strategy, and budget for two high-end journals and a library repository product. Nishkala coordinated online and offline activities to promote these products, including Google PPC advertising.
Nishkala then joined IQPC as a Marketing Manager, where they acted as the central marketing contact for various portfolios and successfully marketed events in different industries such as pharmaceutical, oil and gas, customer experience, and legal. Nishkala also built media partnerships to raise awareness and generate revenue for these events.
At IQPC, Nishkala climbed the ranks and became a Senior Marketing Manager, overseeing a team and successfully marketing 22 events that generated significant delegate and sponsorship revenue. Later on, they became a Divisional Marketing Director, managing multiple marketing managers and a wide range of events across various industries. Their responsibilities also included reviewing and updating pricing strategies, developing unified brands, and training teams on marketing techniques and processes.
Nishkala joined IQPC Asia as a Deputy Marketing Director and later became a Marketing Director. In this role, they managed a team and analyzed results to improve lead quality and conversion rates for increased ROI. Nishkala provided guidance for tailored marketing campaigns and executed strategies within budget.
More recently, Nishkala has been involved with Generation Success as a Volunteer Marketing & Sales Consultant, contributing their marketing expertise to support the organization.
Currently, they are working at AMG World as the Marketing Director, where they are responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives.

Nishkala Thiru completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bristol from 2002 to 2005. In 2007 to 2008, they pursued a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing at the London School of Marketing.
