Akshay Deshpande

Akshay Deshpande is an experienced professional with a strong background in transformation analytics and operations transformation within the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, cell and gene therapy, and medical devices industries. Currently serving as the Director (Head) of Transformation Analytics at Amgen, Akshay has previously held senior managerial roles at Deloitte Consulting, where responsibilities included large-scale operational transformation, supply chain strategy, and corporate development, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Earlier experience includes roles at UPL supporting the CEO's office with strategic initiatives, and financial analysis positions at TresVista Financial Services and Concordas Informatics. Akshay holds an MBA in Strategy and Corporate Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Prin. K.M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy.
