Alan Whitley is an Agile Coach and Release Train Engineer at Amgen, where they assist R&D Informatics teams in implementing the SAFe framework. A SAFe®6 Certified Practice Consultant, Alan has extensive experience in Agile environments, having transitioned from a Senior Software Development Engineer and Business Analyst into Scrum Master roles. Previously, at Change Healthcare, Alan played a significant role in the company's Agile transformation and served in dual capacities as an RTE and manager of Business Systems Analysis. Alan's career began at Meredith Corporation, where they managed IT and accounting projects while leading the shift from Waterfall to Agile methodologies. Currently, Alan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Information Technology, graduating Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University.
