Amy Tang is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in histopathology and neurodevelopment research. Currently serving as a Scientist at Amgen since September 2021, Amy focuses on developing and implementing histopathology assays and conducting image analysis using Indica Labs Halo software. Prior to this role, Amy held various positions at UCSF, including Senior Associate Scientist and Laboratory Manager, where notable research involved developing a mouse model for Coffin-Siris Syndrome and managing mouse colonies. With foundational positions at NCIRE and UCSF, Amy has contributed to several significant publications in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative research. Amy holds a Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology, alongside a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
