C. Brett Johnson

C. Brett Johnson is the State Government Affairs Director for Amgen, a position held since 2022. Previously, they served as Senior Director of Gene Therapy Public Policy at Novartis Gene Therapies and held key roles at the California Life Sciences Association and the California Medical Association. They began their career as a Student Intern Policy Analyst at the National Academy for State Health Policy. C. Brett holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Public Health and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University, as well as a Master’s in Bioscience Regulatory Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Alabama.
