Chad Ray

Chad Ray currently serves as Executive Director at Amgen, a position held since May 2025. Prior to Amgen, Chad Ray spent eight years at Zoetis, where advancement included roles as Vice President-Global Therapeutics, Executive Director, and Senior Scientific Director. Previous experience includes Senior Director and Associate Research Fellow at Pfizer from October 2014 to March 2017, and Senior Director at ICON plc from June 2013 to October 2014. Earlier roles at Pfizer and Radix BioSolutions showcased a progression of responsibilities, starting as Associate Director of Pharmacokinetics Dynamics Metabolism and Director of Pharmaceutical Services, respectively. Chad Ray’s career began at Eli Lilly and Company as a Scientist, starting in September 1997. Chad Ray holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathology Laboratory Medicine from Indiana University Indianapolis, completed between 2000 and 2006.
