Christopher Langmead

Christopher Langmead currently serves as Executive Director at Amgen, leading efforts in AI, Machine Learning, and Scientific Automation within the biologics discovery pipeline. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Digital Biologics Discovery at Amgen and various academic positions at Carnegie Mellon University, including Adjunct Professor and Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science, focusing on Computational Biology and Machine Learning. Christopher Langmead earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, where previous degrees included an M.A. in Computer Music and a B.M. in Computer Music and Music Composition.
