Duran Leavitt

Duran Leavitt is a seasoned professional in audio-visual production and event management, currently serving as Senior Manager of Information Systems - Event Production at Amgen since May 2020. Duran leads a global team of AV Production Engineers, providing support for various internal teams across multiple event formats. Prior to Amgen, Duran worked as a freelance AV Project Manager and Engineer, managing projects from concept to completion. Additionally, Duran has extensive experience at Netflix as an Audio Visual Engineer focusing on events, where a significant increase in events was achieved without adding to headcount. Previous roles include Director of Operations at Five-Star AudioVisual and Production Coordinator at SOS Entertainment, showcasing a comprehensive background in managing AV operations and event logistics. Duran holds an Associate's degree from College of the Canyons and has completed studies at California State University, Northridge and Saugus High School.
