Fang Xie

Fang Xie currently serves as the Scientific Associate Director at Amgen, with a professional trajectory comprising roles such as Sr Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Sr Scientist since March 2013. Experienced in leading the mass spectrometry sub-functional group within PKDM, Fang Xie focuses on LC-MS-based analyses of small molecules, large molecules, and oligonucleotides, ensuring high-quality data delivery and team engagement. Previous roles include PostDoctoral Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Fang Xie specialized in proteome characterization and neuropeptide analysis. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Peking University.
