Gary Fanjiang

Gary Fanjiang serves as the Vice President of US Medical Affairs at Amgen, leading a team of over 400 professionals across various therapeutic areas, including General Medicine, Inflammation, Oncology, and Rare Disease. With a robust background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, Gary has held several leadership roles at Amgen, including Vice President and General Manager of the Biosimilars Business Unit, where oversight includes commercial, operations, manufacturing, and regulatory activities for a portfolio generating over $2 billion in annual sales. Previous positions include Divisional Vice President roles at Abbott and AstraZeneca, as well as key clinical and research positions at Massachusetts General Hospital and Tufts Medical Center. Gary holds an MD and MBA from Tufts University, along with an MS in Clinical Care Research and a BS in Biology from Cornell University.
