Kate Ashton has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Since November 2023, Kate has served as a Scientific Associate Director at Amgen, following a progression from Senior Scientist to Principal Scientist within the same organization. Prior to this, Kate worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both the California Institute of Technology and Princeton University, as well as a Research Associate at Merck in the UK. Kate's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree with Industrial Experience in Organic Chemistry from Edinburgh University.
