Katie Casey

Katie Casey is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate digital communications within the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Since October 2023, Katie has served as Associate Director for Corporate Affairs at Amgen, following the acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics, where Katie held the role of Associate Director of Corporate Digital Communications. During tenure at Horizon from December 2017 to October 2023, Katie established and optimized a comprehensive digital communications strategy while managing high-performing teams. Prior to Horizon, Katie worked at Edelman, where responsibilities included leading digital strategy for multi-channel programs across pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Katie received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from James Madison University, where initial professional experience included internships at JMU Office of Public Affairs and NBCUniversal, Inc.
