Mahsa Rohani

Mahsa Rohani, PhD, is a Senior Principal Scientist and Group Lead at Amgen, where experience spans from April 2015 to the present, overseeing integrated drug substance teams responsible for biologics process development, particularly for biosimilars. Expertise includes managing upstream/downstream development, tech transfer to clinical and commercial sites, and regulatory submissions (IND and BLA). Previous roles include serving as a scientist at Sanofi Genzyme, focusing on enzyme biotherapeutics and process design, and as a graduate research assistant at The Pennsylvania State University, where research concentrated on ultrafiltration and chromatography. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and Sharif University of Technology, respectively, along with a BSc in Chemical Engineering.
