Maikel van Someren Brand

Maikel van Someren Brand serves as the Global ERP Delivery Lead and Head of the Global ERP Project Management Office at Amgen since March 2008, overseeing a comprehensive Global ERP Projects Portfolio and Roadmap across over 120 countries. Previously, Maikel held various leadership roles within Amgen, including Site Lead for Enterprise Platforms and Corporate Functions, and Global Supply Chain Lead, managing teams focused on ERP systems, supply chain processes, and enterprise platforms. Prior experience includes positions at Stahl, Perfetti Van Melle, Deloitte, and Ericsson, specializing in the implementation of SAP systems and financial business processes across multiple regions. Maikel holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Tilburg University and has further certifications in Agile methodologies and APICS CSCP.
