Marc Lujan

Marc Lujan is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director of Strategic Planning & Operations and Global Operations at Amgen since 2002. Lujan has held various leadership roles, including Therapeutic Area Head for Oncology and core member of the Franchise Steering Committee, contributing to the development of operations strategies for oncology programs and overseeing significant franchises such as Neupogen and Neulasta. Previous positions include Director of Global Operations and Corporate Manufacturing, where Lujan led initiatives to enhance operational competencies and manage key projects from acquisition to launch. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager at Novartis (formerly Chiron) from 1989 to 2002. Lujan holds a business degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
