Paul Gramlich

Paul Gramlich is currently the Director of Process Development at Amgen, where they lead a team of 37 staff members focused on developing biologics processes for various recombinant protein modalities. Prior to this role, they served as a Principal Scientist and held multiple positions at Amgen, including Senior Scientist and Scientist, contributing significantly to the commercial process design of upstream bioprocesses. Paul’s experience includes a background as a Biological Lab Technician at Fox Chase Cancer Center and as an Assistant Scientist in bioprocess development at Merck. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University and a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
