Rhodri Jenkins

Rhod Jenkins is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering, currently serving as the Director of Downstream Process Development & Commercialization at Debut since August 2022. Prior roles include Associate Director of Downstream Process Development & Scale-Up at Demetrix and various positions at Amyris focusing on downstream process development and purification from November 2017 to August 2019. Jenkins has also contributed to research as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the University of Bath, with a focus on biomass conversion and upgrading processes. Jenkins holds a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath, alongside an M.Res in Sustainable Chemical Technologies and an M.Sci in Chemistry from the University of Bristol. Currently pursuing an MBA in Innovation, Enterprise, and Circular Economy at the University of Bradford, Jenkins combines extensive research experience with business acumen.
