Robin Cai is a seasoned data engineer and bioinformatics professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Amgen since July 2022, Robin previously held a role as a Senior Software Developer in Computational Biology at the University of California San Diego. Prior experiences include positions at BASF and Verenium where responsibilities encompassed the design and development of web applications for enzyme discovery, bioinformatics analysis, and lab information management systems. Early career roles at Syngenta, Amersham Biosciences, and Citi provided foundational skills in bioinformatics and software development.
