Shane Caldwell

Shane Caldwell is a Principal Scientist in Discovery Protein Science at Amgen, where they focus on the conventional and AI-based design of protein therapeutics and tool molecules. With a PhD in Biochemistry from McGill University and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington, Shane possesses extensive expertise in protein structure, function, design, and engineering. Their previous roles include Scientist/Senior Scientist at Amgen and Research Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children, alongside various co-op and internship experiences.
