Sumita Bhatta

Sumita Bhatta is a highly experienced executive in global development and medical affairs, currently serving as Vice President Global Development TA Head for Rare Disease at Amgen since August 2014. Previous roles at Amgen include Vice President Global Medical TA Head for Oncology, Global Product General Manager, and Executive Director, among others. Prior to Amgen, Sumita Bhatta completed a research fellowship at AbbVie from June 2013 to June 2014. Educational qualifications include multiple fellowships in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics, as well as Hematology/Oncology from the University of Chicago, an Internal Medicine Residency Program, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
