Anna Holmes

Anna Holmes has extensive experience in the field of marine biology, particularly focusing on bivalves. Since January 1996, Anna has worked at Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales, where currently serving as Senior Curator for invasive and non-invasive bivalves, with responsibilities including collections care, research, enquiries, education, and outreach. Additionally, Anna has been affiliated with Bangor School of Ocean Sciences since December 2018 as an Hon. Lecturer, and previously held various curatorial positions. Anna attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from The University of Sheffield and completed studies at Y Pant Comprehensive School in Pontyclun.
