Kiara Vigil

Kiara Vigil is an experienced academic in the field of American Studies, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Amherst College since July 2012, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor. Before this role, Kiara Vigil was a Bolin Fellow at Williams College from July 2010 to June 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in American Culture from the University of Michigan (2006-2011), a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University (1997-1998), and a Bachelor's degree in History from Tufts University (1993-1997).
